A heated confrontation erupted between a fuming mum and Insulate Britain protesters, with the former threatening to run these activists over if they did not let her son go to school. Wednesday market the 12th day of the climate group’s demonstration, causing further disruption to roads and motorists. Protestors blocked the M25 junction to St Clements Way and London Way in Thurrock.
“I don’t care what the f**k this is.
“My son is 11, he needs to get to school today.
“So move out of the way and let me get my son to school.”
After the protesters failed to move, the mum said: “I will drive through you then!
Angry motorists blasted their horns and dragged protesters away from the roads.
The M25 block caused HGVs to turn around, creating intense clashes between motorists and protesters.
The protest group has been calling for the installation of heat-saving measures in social housing by 2025, and all homes by 2030.
A spokesman, Liam Norton, said: "In 10 years' time when fuel crises are catastrophic, when the food has run out and when people are experiencing unsurvivable heatwaves, what would you be wishing you had done now?"
