Speaking on her TalkTV show, Ms Phillips launched an angry rant at the Labour MP's comments.
The former MEP said: "How dare she, how dare she, how dare she. These people are cultural vandals.
"We get to have our heritage, we get to have our history, we get to be proud of this country, we get to sing our patriotic songs, we get to be British and we get to enjoy being British and people like that need to shut up."

Ms Phillips added: "It's very clear that if Labour gets in power which seems like they're likely to do they're going to take the proverbial hammer and sickle to everything we should be proud of and that is a dangerous direction of travel. Think twice."
Ms Debbonaire's comments come after Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the cellist who played at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding, said the piece of music should be dropped from Last Night of the Proms because it makes people feel "uncomfortable".
Asked about his comments, Ms Debbonaire told the Spectator’s Women with Balls podcast: “It’s not my favourite bit of music.
"And the Proms is a fantastic institution and it’s the world’s greatest music festival.
“I think it’s a decision for the people who run the Proms and again, like I said, it shouldn’t be politicians who tell people how to run cultural events.

“I think for a lot of people that feels like a very sort of British moment, which I think has to be respected as well, but for a lot of people, as Sheku Kenneh-Mason said, it will feel alienating.
“As I want the Proms – I want culture – to be accessible to everyone, I think it’s a good debate for us to be having.”
Ms Debbonaire's comments have reignited the long-running row over the song which is controversial due to its associations with colonialism and slavery.
