The Duchess of York said she was "so proud" of her goddaughter Eliza Dodd-Noble. The 33-year-old music producer proposed to her American food blogger girlfriend Hannah Crockett, 29, this week at the Chateau Marmont hotel.

       Taking to Instagram, Eliza shared a snap of the two of them and wrote: "She said yes."

       And Sarah revealed she has "already bagged a seat at the wedding".

       The Duchess told the Daily Mail's Richard Eden: "I am so proud of Eliza getting engaged to Hannah.

       "Nothing gives my heart greater joy than to see young people happy.

       "My Eliza is a special and very talented lady and I wish them all the luck in the world.

       "I have already bagged a seat at the wedding!"

       Eliza's aristocratic father Paddy Dodd-Noble is an old friend of Sarah and Prince Andrew.

       Sarah's excitement comes as she is set to become a grandmother for the second time this year.

       Her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie welcomed baby August in February.

       And Princess Beatrice is expecting her first child with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi later this year.

       Beatrice's pregnancy was announced by Buckingham Palace in May after she and Mr Mapelli Mozzi tied the knot in a secret lockdown wedding last year.

       Sisters Beatrice and Eugenie will be delighted to have their children so close together in age and to share the experience of being first-time mothers.

       And Sarah, who lives in Windsor with her ex-husband, will no doubt embrace babysitting duties.

       In February following the arrival of Eugenie's son, she shared her excitement on social media at becoming a grandparent for the first time.

       The Duchess said: "As grandparents, the Duke and I are thrilled and blessed at the arrival of our grandson August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

       "He is a beautiful blessing and a bringer of such love and joy to all our family.

       "I am so proud of Jack and Eugenie, they are and will be wonderful parents."

       Beatrice showed off her blossoming baby bump this week as she made an appearance at Wimbledon.

       The royal was glowing in a polka dot dress as she tenderly rested a hand on her blooming bump.
