A BOUNCER who murdered her lover’s toddler grinned as she was jailed for life yesterday — while the tot’s family demanded the pair rot in jail.

       Savannah Brockhill, 28 — who called herself “No1 Psycho” — was ordered to serve at least 25 years for killing 16-month-old Star Hobson.

       She punched, slapped, kicked and throttled Star during lockdown last year before delivering fatal blows that September.

       But after her sentence was delivered, callous Brockhill smiled, blew kisses and gave a thumbs-up to relatives in the public gallery.

       Star’s mum, Frankie Smith, 20, who ignored the abuse, was jailed for eight years for causing or allowing the death. She will likely serve only four years.

       Last night Smith’s grandad, Frank, 68, called on the Attorney General to review the “staggeringly soft sentences”. He told The Sun: “Is that all Star’s life is worth? Frankie will be out in four years — how is that justice?

       "She watched her child die. She lied repeatedly to cover hers and Brockhill's tracks. They both deserve to rot in jail. It’s disgusting.”

       He said boxing-obsessed Brockhill — who lied to pals she was related to heavyweight champ Tyson Fury but in reality had simply met him once — deserved the death penalty.

       She and Smith were driven from Bradford crown court in two prison vans under armed escort amid cries of: “You murdering bastards”.

       Star’s paternal grandad, Bernard Hobson, 55, earlier told the court: “We have been haunted by wondering what Star endured during the last months of her short life. Now we know it was a living nightmare for her.”

       The court was told social services missed five glaring opportunities in nine months to save Star from the abuse at the couple’s home in Keighley, West Yorks.

       Family and friends contacted them with videos and pictures of the little girl’s injuries, asking for help.

       But social workers thought their claims were the result of the family’s disapproval of their same-sex relationship.

       Star’s great-gran Anita Smith, 70, said: “I still kiss her picture every night.” Sentencing the pair, Mrs Justice Lambert said: “Star’s short life was marked by neglect, cruelty and injury.”
