Weddings within the Royal Family have always held a unique significance in the hearts of people around the globe.
They aren't just glamorous events but cultural milestones that are watched by millions across the world.
Wedding planner for The Planner Co., Claudia examined the royal weddings that left an indelible mark on the collective consciousnesses of Royal Family enthusiasts and listed the most popular weddings.
She said: “Whether traditional or groundbreaking, each ceremony leaves an indelible impact on the collective consciousness.
“These regal unions remind us of the enduring power of romance and the global fascination with the British monarchy.”
Topping the list is the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. The wedding that took place in 1981 has been regularly researched on Google, the latest survey has suggested.
Claudia, who only wishes to go by her first name, said: “Undoubtedly one of the most iconic royal weddings of all time, the marriage of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer captivated the world with its fairytale-like charm. Held at St. Paul's Cathedral in London, the ceremony was a spectacle of unparalleled magnitude, with an estimated 750 million people tuning in to watch worldwide.”
9. Princess Margaret and Antony Armstrong-Jones
