Prince Harry has reportedly pleaded with his wife Meghan Markle to stand by him over their upcoming trip to the UK, even though she has doubts about their children's safety.
A source claimed that Harry may now have to make his next visit to London a solo trip, even after issuing his wife a seven word plea: "I don't want to do this alone."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expected to attend the Invictus Games 10th anniversary service at St Paul's Cathedral on May 8, with no confirmation whether they would bring Prince Archie or Princess Lilibet with them.
However an insider has told New magazine: "It's now got to the point where Meghan doesn't want to come to the UK with the children. She just doesn't feel safe.
"The situation is now about whether the family should attend with increased security or Harry should go it alone."

The source added: "Harry doesn't want to keep making solo trips to the UK. He would prefer it if the entire family made regular visits to see his family and build bridges, but there is so much going on behind the scenes that it just isn't possible at the moment.
"Both Harry and Meghan were planning to come to the UK, but when the exact time and date of their appearance [at the Invictus ceremony] were made public, she started to rethink that idea."
The couple have been estranged from the Royal Family ever since their move to the US in 2020, with the revelations made in their Netflix series Harry & Meghan and the Duke's memoir Spare only making matters worse.

But with both King Charles and Princess Kate now battling cancer, Harry is said to be more keen than ever to patch things up with his family.
He flew to London at the beginning of February after hearing about his father's condition, with the pair having a brief private meeting at Clarence House.
The couple have also reportedly reached out to Kate privately and are "very upset" about the health concerns surrounding the Firm, with Harry now torn over his desire to support his family and be there for his wife.

The source continued: "Harry is keen to go and visit both the King and Kate when he comes to the UK, but he knows it will be a difficult task to get Meghan to join him.
"She's been through a lot, but so now are his father and sister-in-law. He wants to be there for his family but has to find the right balance between supporting them and supporting his wife at the same time."
The question of security for the Sussexes has been further complicated by the Duke losing his High Court case against the Home Office, with the decision to remove his taxpayer-funded security upheld.
