BBC Question Time host Fiona Bruce brutally humiliated Vaccine Minister Maggie Throup last night. The intense grilling focused on the Government's mixed messaging on the new Omicron variant as well as reports suggesting Downing Street hosted a festive party last December. The party was reportedly held on December 18, at a time when England was locked into tier three COVID-19 restrictions.

       During a tense back-and-forth with Ms Bruce, Ms Throup struggled to say whether a party was held or not.

       The audience was heard loudly laughing after she said: "The PM said quite clearly on Wednesday at PMQs that all guidance was followed."

       Ms Bruce followed up: "But that isn't the question that was asked and that is why everyone is laughing Maggie.

       "You might as well put it straight, we have you here now. Was there a Christmas Party or wasn't there?"

       The BBC host added: "I'm sure you were briefed before you came on here Maggie."

       Ms Bruce asked those in attendance: “Who wants to know if there was a Christmas party or not?”

       The majority of the audience held their hands up, prompting Ms Bruce to say: "Come on Maggie. Was there a Christmas party or wasn’t there?"

       When Ms Throup continued to deny any knowledge about a party, the BBC audience audibly groaned.

       She said: “Whatever the event was, then the guidance was followed.

       “Number 10 is a workplace and I have been reassured all guidance has been followed."

       Ms Bruce turned to the audience: "Does that answer your question?"

       The audience responded "no," as Ms Bruce responded: "Want to have another go Maggie?"

       Ex-Dragons' Den star Theo Paphitis urged a straightforward answer, adding: “It’s a yes or no.”

       At the time of the alleged party, tier three restrictions were in place in England, which indicated there was a “very high alert”.

       The Government had warned people against “mixing of households indoors, or most outdoor places, apart from support bubbles".
