One person died after a tree fell on a house Monday in the Annapolis area, the Anne Arundel County fire department said.

       Three people were trapped in the house on Holly Drive West, the fire department said. Two were rescued, but the third died at the scene.

       It was not clear why the tree fell, although it happened during a heavy rainstorm. No information about the victim was immediately available.
