THE mum of four boys killed in a house fire has said she will "never get over" their tragic deaths.

Deveca Rose, 27, lost her two sets of twin sons, Kyson and Bryson, 4, and Leyton and Logan, 3, in the "horrendous" fire last Thursday.

Neighbours said the mum had been out shopping in Sainsbury's when the fire was discovered at their home in Sutton, South London, shortly before 7pm.

Ms Rose said she has struggled to function since, telling The Times: “Bryson, Kyson, Logan and Leyton were my boys, they were my babies, they were my life, they were my world.

“I can’t get over it, I’ll never get over it."

A 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect after the fire and released on police bail on Saturday until mid-January.

The boys' mum described how her sons loved school and being with their great-grandparents.

She also said they loved singing, climbing, dancing, art and baking.

The devastated parent added: “They lit up everybody’s world and I will always be sorry that they went so soon. They had so much planned and now they’re gone.

"I wake up and I look at their Christmas tree and I look at their clothes, their Liverpool [football] kit, their Cocomelon dressing gowns, their drawings."

It is understood the home's PVC-covered front door caught fire - possibly due to Christmas fairy lights - and then erupted in flames.

Brave firefighters rushed inside and rescued the little ones before giving them CPR on the street outside until paramedics arrived.

Tragically, all four children were pronounced dead when they were taken to hospital.

Speaking of his tragic loss the boys' grieving dad Dalton Hoath, 28, said on Friday: “Their first football game was all they were talking about. Now I won’t be able to see them playing or watching football.

“It would have been passing down a tradition as the family have supported Wimbledon for years.

“They were bright, caring, loveable boys. I don’t know how I will carry on. It’s a miracle I haven’t lost the plot already.”

The boys' Grandfather Jason Hoath also shared a heart-breaking tribute to his grandsons on Facebook, describing the tiny lads as his "smart and beautiful grandsons".

"I am devastated to say that the horrendous house fire that took place in Sutton last night leading to four children loosing their lives were my amazing, smart and beautiful grandsons," he wrote.

"Kyson and Bryson, aged four, and Leyton and Logan, aged three, were taken too soon they will always be in our hearts and thoughts.

"Boys, I love you forever. Grandad xxx".

The heartbroken grandfather, who is a security officer at AFC Wimbledon, went to hospital with Dalton to identify the children and said they had “looked like angels”.

It is thought they were overcome from smoke and died before the firefighters could reach them.

Jason said: “I’ve just left my son. He’s devastated. We all are. I’ve lost four grandchildren and he’s lost his kids as well.

“It’s all the more heartbreaking because their presents were piled under the tree ready.

“We don’t know what happened and are just waiting for the police to get back to us.”

London Fire Commissioner Andy Roe said firefighters were “numb with profound sadness” following the tragedy.

Mr Roe said: “My thoughts are with the family and friends of the children, the whole local community and all those who will be affected by this fire.

"Crews arrived quickly and located the children inside the property. They were brought out of the house and given immediate emergency care.

“The welfare of our staff involved in this incident is very important to us and all will be offered counselling as a priority.”
