KUALA LUMPUR: MISC Bhd has appointed Captain Rajalingam Subramaniam (pic) as president and group CEO, effective Oct 1, 2022, succeeding Datuk Yee Yang Chien.

       MISC said Yee has opted for retirement following a long and remarkable career in the maritime industry spanning more than 20 years, in various leadership roles within the group, the last being his current role which he held since 2015.

       “Rajalingam began his career at sea and came ashore in 1996 and has since held various positions in the MISC, which included vice-president, fleet management services of MISC in 2008, before being appointed as the president and CEO of AET in 2016,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
