William and Harry are preparing to reunite next month in what is likely to be a tense but amicable meeting. The pair will attend an unveiling of a statue of their late mother, Princess Diana, which will go on display at Kensington Palace. Multiple reports suggest Harry will arrive in the UK this week in order to complete the required quarantine period.
Under current coronavirus travel restrictions, the US is on the UK’s amber list, which means anyone arriving from the country must quarantine for 10 days and take two compulsory COVID-19 tests.
There is also the 'Test to Release' programme option which allows those in isolation to take a third test on the fifth day of quarantine which, if negative, will provide the traveller with permission to end their self-isolation early.
Thus, the latest Harry could arrive in the UK and attend the celebration under this option on 25 June.
He and William were thought to have briefly reconciled at Prince Philip's funeral in April, a month after his and Meghan's bombshell Oprah Winfrey interview aired across the world.
Yet, bad blood is said to have returned after Harry appeared in several interviews after the funeral, in one blaming the Queen and Philip for passing on to him "genetic pain and suffering".
The brother's feud took off when William offered Harry advice at the beginning of his relationship with Meghan.
