MELAKA: Eleven men have been arrested for allegedly displaying a gang logo during a funeral procession at Durian Tunggal here.

       Melaka police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Majid Mohd Ali said police acted on a 20-second video taken by onlookers showing the suspects, aged between 24 and 42, attending the funeral procession while exhibiting the logo.

       “A police report was lodged on July 7 before police raided and detained the suspects here. We are looking for two more suspects, ” he said yesterday.

       DCP Abdul Majid said the men were seen decorating a hearse with flowers arranged in a manner that depicted the gang’s logo.

       The hearse was carrying the body of a man who died in a road accident on July 6.

       The case is being investigated for breach of standard operating procedure and offences related to the Societies Act
