PETALING JAYA: Two Malaysian varsities have done the country proud by standing tall in the latest Global Employability University Ranking and Survey (GEURS).
Universiti Malaya (UM) and Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) were ranked 217th and 178th respectively, a jump from their previous 226th and 191st positions.
GEURS is run by higher education human resources consultancy, Emerging, and published by Times Higher Education (THE).
The survey revealed the world’s top 250 universities according to recruiters.
The 11th annual survey was carried out across 23 countries and regions, resulting in 118,196 votes cast by 10,928 international recruiters and managers supervising five or more graduates a year, THE said in a statement.
These recruiters and managers selected up to 15 universities from a list of 2,000.
