PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic) has expressed his condolences to the family of former Johor mentri besar Datuk Osman Sapian, who passed away on Tuesday (Dec 21) night.
The Transport Minister described Osman’s passing as a big loss for the rakyat and the country, especially the southern state of Johor.
“His contributions and sacrifices for the people and the development of Johor will be remembered eternally.
“May his soul be blessed,” Dr Wee said in a Facebook post on Wednesday (Dec 22).
Osman, who was also Kempas assemblyman, died at his son’s home in Damansara, Petaling Jaya at around 11.45pm on Tuesday (Dec 21).
Osman, who was the 16th Johor mentri besar and the first from Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia after the 2018 General Election, suffered a stroke at his home here in October.
