PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob broke fast with local media practitioners, including chief editors from prominent publications, at his official residence at Seri Perdana here.
Around 700 guests from various media agencies and publications, including Star Media Group (SMG), Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama), Radio Televisyen Malaysia, Media Prima, Sin Chew Daily and Kwong Wah Yit Poh, attended the event yesterday.
Bernama chairman Senator Datuk Ras Adiba Radzi, Bernama acting chief executive officer Roslan Ariffin, Bernama editor-in-chief Khairdzir Md Yunus and other editors were also present.
In addition, 95 special guests of the Prime Minister’s Office from Keluarga Malaysia Foundation and the Raudhatul Al-Faeez House for Orphans and Asnaf were feted at the function, reported Bernama.
Ismail Sabri then performed congregational Maghrib, Isyak and terawih prayers together with the Muslim attendees.
