THE oldest person to stand trial in an English court has died aged 105.
Ralph Clarke was convicted of historical child sex offences and jailed for 13 years in 2016.

His victims from the 1970s and ’80s called police after seeing Facebook pics of his 100th birthday celebration.

He died last February, four days after being transferred to a hospital. His death emerged in a report only last month.
The Prisons and Probation Ombudsman made no criticism of his care.
But it said he should have been told that he was not going to be transferred to a hospice — as he had wished.
