A man driving a red car crashed into the Gold Coast’s Dior store Friday, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The crash occurred about 11:20 a.m. in the 900 block of North Rush Street, according to Chicago police. The male driver was driving on the sidewalk northbound in the 900 block of North Michigan Avenue before he hit the store.
The driver was taken into custody and transported in serious condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said.
No other injures were reported.
