Sir Keir Starmer has been mocked on social media over his "toe-curlingly awkward" No 10 Christmas lights switch-on.
The Prime Minister stepped outside 10 Downing Street to turn on the lights ahead of his first Christmas in office.

Sir Keir turned on the lights, before laughing and adding: "It worked. Nervous moment there but it's all good."
But the Prime Minister was mocked by some on social media platform X over the switch-on.
GB News presenter Patrick Christys wrote on X: "This is just toe-curlingly awkward, isn’t it?"
Fellow GB News host Emily Carver shared a robot emoji and added: "How horribly awkward."
