KLANG: A woman was beaten during an attempted robbery near Shaw Centrepoint here.

       North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao said the incident occurred at 10am on Tuesday (May 17).

       “The victim was walking towards the shopping complex and fell when she was kicked by the suspect.

       "The suspect acted aggressively during the attempted robbery and punched the victim in the face and head before running away," he said in a statement Thursday (May 19).

       ACP Vijaya said the victim has provided the police with details of how the suspect looks like and efforts are underway to track him down.

       "Based on the description given, the suspect is thin, has shoulder-length hair, tanned skin, and is in his 40s,” he added.

       The victim suffered no losses during the incident.

       It is believed that the suspect is the same man that was seen in a TikTok video exposing himself on Jalan Chow Kit.

       ACP Vijaya urged those with information on the incident to contact their nearest police station.
