       KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Those who love fish and seafoods may have to rethink their eating patterns in the coming days due to the unprecedented price hike that enraged consumers, reports Al-Seyassah daily. A kilogram of local Zubaidi now costs KD20 while the imported one costs KD13 and the grouper costs KD4.500. These prices have been the highest since May 17 – less than two weeks ago.

       At the time, the price of local Zubaidi was KD14 per kilogram. This means the price has increased by 42 percent. Therefore, KD20 is no longer enough for a consumer to buy fish, he must allocate a larger amount.
