TOKYO (Kyodo) -- The Fujitsu Frontiers won Japan's American football championship game, the Rice Bowl, for the sixth time and the first time in two years with a 24-18 victory over the Panasonic Impulse.
For the first time, the game at Tokyo Dome pitted two teams from Japan's top corporate competition, the X-League. The rules were changed after 12 straight victories by the corporate champions.
