SIBU: Several students at a boarding school here are being investigated after a 23-second video clip of a student being bullied went viral on Wednesday (April 20).

       Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Zulkipli Suhaili, on Thursday (April 21), said in a statement that a report had been lodged and added that the victim and suspects have been identified.

       He then said that the investigation is being carried out under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation and Section 509 of the same Code for insulting the modesty of a person.

       "We want to advise people not to manipulate the video which has gone viral," he said.
