A 31-year-old man who was shot on Oct. 20 died of his injuries Sunday, D.C. police said.

       Police are investigating the fatal shooting of Donnell Myers, of Southeast Washington, as a homicide.

       Police said they were called to the 200 block of 37th Place SE around 3:51 p.m. on Oct. 20 for the report of a shooting and found a man with a gunshot wound. Another man, later identified as Myers, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the rear of the 3900 block of Burns Place SE, police said. Both men were taken to hospitals. Police did not know the condition of the other man.
