A MAN in his 40s has been arrested after allegedly trying to abduct two children under ten in a park in front of their horrified mum.
Officers in Cumbria are investigating the alleged attempted abduction which took place at Barrow Park today.

A man was arrested after allegedly trying to abduct two kids under the age of ten
Police arrested the man, in his 40s, on suspicion of attempted abduction and he currently remains in police custody.
The incident was reported to police at around 1.10pm by a park ranger after it was reported to him by a member of the public.
Cumbria Police are looking for a woman who reported it to the children's mum and the park ranger.
Officers believe the witness can provide important information that would assist their investigation.
The woman is blonde and was wearing a beige coat.
It was believed she was with a man and a girl.
