PETALING JAYA: Malaysia reported 13,104 new Covid-19 cases, says the Health Ministry on Sunday (Sept 26).

       Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah tweeted that the country’s total cumulative infections now stands at 2,198,235 cases.

       Sarawak recorded the highest daily figure with 2,943 new cases followed by Selangor (1,558) and Johor (1,455).

       Kuala Lumpur continued to record low daily case figures with the federal territory reporting 270 new infections.

       The cases in other states are as follows; Kelantan (1,206), Sabah (1,078), Perak (994), Penang (955), Kedah (721), Terengganu (685), Pahang (604), Melaka (362), Negri Sembilan (165), Perlis (80), Putrajaya (24) and Labuan (four).
