KOTA TINGGI: Johor Ruler Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar has been visiting flood victims at temporary relief centres (PPS) since the deluge hit the state on Saturday (Jan 1).
On his official Facebook page on Monday (Jan 3), Sultan Ibrahim visited the PPS at SK Mawai here, which was opened on Sunday (Jan 2) with 117 people from 26 families seeking shelter at the centre.
Sultan Ibrahim was accompanied by his sons Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Panglima Johor Tunku Abdul Rahman Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim and Putera Johor Tunku Abu Bakar Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.
The Ruler also contributed fried chicken meal packs to flood victims through the Sultan Ibrahim Johor Foundation (YSIJ) in collaboration with QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd.
Some 1,100 boxes were given to the PPS in Segamat and Kota Tinggi districts, which were distributed by the respective district officers.
