A man was shot and killed late Friday night in Montgomery County, the county police said.

       The man was shot around 10:50 p.m. in the 19500 block of Gunners Branch Road, the police said.

       He died at the scene, according to police.

       The man was described as a 20-year-old resident of Frederick, Md. His name was withheld until relatives could be notified, the police said.
