IPOH: Perak PKR Youth has filed a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) over the allegedly award of a piece of government-owned land to a special officer of a state executive council member to carry out prawn farming.
In the report, Perak PKR Youth secretary Zaim Sidqi Zulkifly (pic) alleged that about 19ha of land in Bagan Tiang in Parit Buntar was awarded to state exco member Datuk Abdul Yunus Jamhari's special officer.
"We believe that there might be an act of misconduct in the transaction between the officer and the Perak State Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC)," he said outside the MACC building in Meru Raya on Tuesday (June 22).

Zaim said the prawn farming company was registered last September and the land was granted two months later.
Perak MACC director Datuk Mohd Fauzi Mohamad confirmed that the report was lodged.
Meanwhile, Datul Abdul Yunus Jamhari said that he was not aware of his special officer being granted land.
"I do not know anything about this. Therefore it is best for me not to comment on the matter," he said.
