       MARTIAL arts superstar Jackie Chan, who has a reputation for being a womaniser, was criticised online for asking for the contact details of a flight attendant, Sin Chew Daily reported.

       The flight attendant who goes by the handle Shuidi Guoguo on Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter, posted a picture of herself and Chan, 67.

       “Big brother is so nice! Not only did he permit me to take a photo, he also asked for my address and my phone number.

       “He said he wanted to send me presents.

       “He is so friendly with people,” she wrote.

       However, many Internet users speculated that the actor had a more sinister motive.

       “Jackie Chan is making a mistake all men under the sky will make,” one wrote.

       Shuidi Guoguo defended Chan, saying that the superstar merely sent her a signed copy of his memoir Never Grow Up.

       She also posted a photo of the book on her social media.

       Even so, Internet users were not convinced by the gesture and accused Chan of attempting to prey on a young woman.

       In Chan’s memoir, he confessed to prostitution, drinking, gambling and having affairs during his career.

       “Apologise for eloping or I will not meet your new husband,” China Press quoted the mother Huang Chunmei as saying.

       Apparently, Huang was furious after finding out from reporters that her daughter, who got a divorce just three months ago, had married a previous boyfriend.

       “I have been kept in the dark the whole time. This is very disrespectful to me.

       “When reporters asked me about it, I told them I don’t know. The reporters thought I was lying but I really did not know anything,” she said.

       Hsu’s younger sister tried to placate the sitution between her mother and her sister, but both women are still not on talking terms.

       In November last year, Hsu and her Chinese businessman husband announced that they were divorcing after more than 10 years of marriage. They have a daughter born in 2014 and a son born in 2016.

       News emerged recently that Hsu, 45, had remarried a former boyfriend, South Korean musician DJ Koo, 52.

       Hsu said she kept her marriage plans under wraps and went to South Korea alone.

       She only told her family the night after she registered the marriage.

       Koo has since arrived in Taiwan and is under quarantine now.

       He intends to meet Hsu’s family once he is out of quarantine, but mum-in-law Huang said she had no plans to do so.

       “I am too tired to care. Maybe by the time my anger has subsided, he would have returned to Korea,” Huang said.
