PETALING JAYA: GDB Holdings Bhd’s net profit rose 17.4% to RM20.1mil in the nine months to September 2021 from RM17.1mil in the corresponding period last year despite the lockdown affecting the progress in its construction sites.

       Year-to-date, the construction services company’s revenue rose 19.3% to RM280.1mil from RM234.7mil a year ago, driven by advanced stages of construction activities for ongoing projects, as well as new contribution from 8 Conlay.

       GDB’s order book stood at RM1.67bil as at end-September 2021 which is expected to provide earnings visibility until early 2024. As at Sept 30, its total cash and cash equivalents stood at RM88.1mil.
