Three people, including men from Naperville and Aurora, were killed early Saturday morning in a two-car crash in Lisle.
Officers arrived at the intersection of Warrenville Road and Navistar Drive about 1:20 a.m. to find one man dead in each of the vehicles involved, a Lisle Police Department news release said. A woman from Shorewood was critically injured and later died at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
No names for the victims have been released.
Lisle police closed the intersection for several hours so a DuPage MERIT Major Crash Reconstruction Team could analyze the crash scene, the release said.
The police report said the deceased Aurora man was found inside his severely damaged vehicle. He was in his 40s, police said.

A second Naperville man, also in his 20s, was driving the second car. He was taken to an area hospital and is in stable condition, the report said.
