Four people were injured in a South Austin shooting Wednesday night, according to Chicago police.
They had been standing outside in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street when two people came out of a gangway and fired shots at them around 9:30 p.m., police said in a media notification.
A 19-year-old woman was shot in the chest and taken in fair condition to Mount Sinai Medical Center, police said. A 37-year-old man, shot in the leg, also was taken to Mount Sinai, where his condition was stabilized.
A 29-year-old man was shot in the face and shoulder and he was taken in serious condition to Stroger Hospital, according to police. A 34-year-old man, shot in the leg and arm, also was taken to Stroger Hospital in fair condition.
No arrests had been made, police said. The shooting remained under investigation.
