KOTA KINABALU: After two days of increase in daily Covid-19 cases, Sabah showed a major reduction, recording 596 infections on Friday (March 18).
Sabah Covid-19 spokesman Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said infections dropped in 21 out of the 27 districts in Sabah, including Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, Beaufort and Putatan.
“The five districts reporting an increase saw cases go up in a small level, while one district remained the same as of Thursday (March 17).
“At the same time, two clusters ended today, namely Jalan Apas Batu Lima (Tawau) and Loboh Nabawan (Nabawan),” said Masidi, adding that 19 clusters remained active in Sabah.
