17 Kuwait Army cadet officers suffer from food poisoning

       KUWAIT CITY, June 17: The Directorate General of Moral Guidance and Public Relations in Kuwait Army announced that 17 cadet volunteers from the 644 non-commissioned officer cadet course held at the Non-commissioned Officers and Individuals Training Institute suffered from food poisoning after having their meals,” reports Al-Rai daily.

       In this regard, informed sources explained that the institute’s leadership took all necessary medical measures and procedures to treat the affected cadets. They were discharged from the hospital as soon as they received the necessary treatment.”

       The Army General Staff Presidency formed an investigation committee immediately after the incident occurred in order to identify the reasons behind the occurrence of food poisoning cases, with the aim of holding the responsible party accountable and taking all necessary legal measures towards it.

       The Chief of Staff affirmed its concern for the health and safety of all its members of the courses and its interest in providing all forms of care, attention and follow-up to them.

       The Directorate of Moral Guidance and Public Relations affirmed its constant readiness to answer and clarify any information or news that may be ambiguous or inaccurate either through direct communication or by following the posts on its official accounts on social media.
