A WIFE drove while nearly four times the alcohol limit because she was fleeing her wealthy but violent and abusive husband, a court heard.

Cameras saw her Audi leaving her ￡2million home in Swanley, Kent.
Police stopped her in nearby Orpington and smelt alcohol on her.
But she drove off leading to a brief pursuit, Bromley JPs heard.
She said: “I was running away from a really abusive relationship.”
Khosla told officers her husband was an “alcoholic and bully”.
But District Judge Sarah Turnock made “no findings of fact on that”.
Khosla, admitted drink-driving and got eight weeks’ jail suspended. She was banned for 2？ years.
