KUALA LUMPUR: Glomac Bhd has been named as one of the best developers in a recent property development award for the second consecutive time.

       The group was named as one of the winners of the best developers – people’s choice award at the recent iProperty Development Excellence Awards (iDEA).

       Glomac also bagged a best mixed development award for its high-rise development called Plaza@Kelana Jaya.

       Group corporate communications and corporate marketing senior manager FD Idzham FD Iskandar who received the best developer award on behalf of the group in a virtual ceremony, attributed the success to its buyers, investors and supporters.“This award motivates us to continue working hard and be recognised as a world-class property developer,” he said.

       Glomac chief operating officer (operations) Zulkifly Garib represented the group in receiving the best mixed development award.

       He said the location was a major factor for Plaza@Kelana Jaya, which fronts the Damansara-Puchong expressway with easy access to other major roads.

       “Plaza@Kelana Jaya’s latest features also include work from home and study from home facilities”, he added.

       Comprising 696 small office, home office or Soho units and 16 three-storey shop offices, Plaza@Kelana Jaya has a take-up rate of 83%.

       The project, which was launched in 2019, is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2022.
