PETALING JAYA: Handal Energy Bhd’s unit has secured a new contract from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc (EMEPMI) for the provision of crane operation and maintenance services.

       In its filing with Bursa Malaysia, Handal said the contract awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary Handal Cranes Sdn Bhd is valid for five years effective from June 15, 2021, until June 14, 2026.

       It said the contract secured did not have any specified value as it is on a call-out basis whereby work order will be issued at the discretion of EMEPMI based on a schedule of activities throughout the duration of the contract.

       The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of Handal group for the financial year ending June 30, 2022, to 2026.
