RYAN Giggs has today arrived at court accused of drunkenly headbutting his ex-girlfriend during three years of abuse.
The former Man Utd ace, 47, allegedly assaulted Kate Greville, 36, at his home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, on November 1 last year.

Giggs first met Kate Greville when she was working on PR for his Hotel Football business venture
He is accused of causing her actual bodily harm.
The Wales boss is also said to have engaged in controlling and coercive behaviour towards Kate between December 2017 and November 2020.
The winger has also been charged with the common assault by beating of Kate's youngster sister, Emma Greville, on November 1.
He has denied the allegations and previously issued a statement in which he said he would "look forward to clearing my name".
'CONTROLLING BEHAVIOUR'
Giggs has arrived at Manchester Crown Court for a hearing where he is expected to enter a formal plea to the three charges.
A provisional trial date has been set for January 24 and is expected to last three weeks.
The court previously heard how there was a pattern of "controlling behaviour" where Giggs "isolated" Kate from her friends and colleagues.
It’s claimed that throughout their three-year relationship, Giggs used “harassment, humiliation, degradation and abuse”.
He was also accused of subjecting her to "degrading treatment" to "keep her in the relationship" by using "threats or physical or professional harm".
GIGGS CHARGE
Giggs is on conditional bail and must not contact Kate or Emma Greville, or go to any address where they are.
The ex-footballer was replaced by caretaker boss Robert Page, who managed Wales at the Euros, in the wake of the allegations.
Giggs will also miss out on six World Cup qualifiers taking place between September and November.
Police were called to Giggs' ￡1.7million mansion at 10.05pm on November 1 last year following reports of a disturbance.
He was arrested and later bailed pending further inquiries.
Kate met Giggs when she was working on PR for his Hotel Football business venture, opposite Manchester United's Old Trafford stadium.
In April 2018 she was appointed head of PR and communications for GG Hospitality, the hospitality management firm co-owned by Giggs and former United team-mate Gary Neville.

She was involved in the launch of their Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester city centre before she took up a new PR consultancy post last July with a former employer.
Giggs won 64 caps for Wales and had a glittering playing career with Manchester United, winning 13 Premier League titles, two Champions League trophies, four FA Cups and three League Cups.
He is also a co-owner of League Two side Salford City.
