ACTRESS Rozita Che Wan does not want to prolong her dispute with TV personality Mohamed Azwan Ali, Utusan Malaysia reported.

Rozita said she was only following up on the process that was started by Azwan, better known as Diva AA.

“We are only ordinary people who do not have anything. We are also in the same industry. Why should we be enemies?

“I am open and hope that this issue can be resolved amicably if he is also willing to cooperate,” she said.

Rozita said she only gave her statement at the police station based on what was claimed by the other party.

“On the advice of my lawyer, there is not much to talk about until this issue is resolved,” she said.

Rozita gave her statement at the Jalan Travers police headquarters in Brickfields over the police report lodged by Diva AA.

Diva AA had earlier lodged a report against Rozita for allegedly issuing defamatory statements against him.

He claimed that the statements Rozita made had damaged his image as an artiste.

       > Sinar Harian reported that a young trader’s creativity in using durian as the filling for his apam balik instead of sweet corn proved to be fruitful as he was now enjoying brisk sales.

Muhamad Syazwan Abdul Aziz, 20, who sells the traditional pancake in Kampung Gerong, Tumpat, Kelantan, said he decided to use durian as the filling as it was currently the king of fruits’ season.

“I decided to go ahead after I tried it myself and found it to be tasty.

“There are many customers who don’t mind waiting for the durian apam balik even though I only open for business at 8am,” he said, adding that the pancakes were usually sold out by noon.

To make the apam balik, Syazwan needs 15kg of durian pulp each day as well as 10kg of flour.

The apam balik are sold for between RM2 and RM5 depending on the size.

He said he would often use durian pulp from varieties such as durian kampung and durian kunyit.

       > Despite the pandemic, Sazali Yusoff, 61, decorated one of his trishaws with the Jalur Gemilang as a sign of his love for the country, Harian Metro reported .
