PETALING JAYA: Business is booming at Arena Warna marketplace in Ayer Hitam, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

       In a Facebook post on Thursday (May 5), the Ayer Hitam MP said it was a popular destination for both local and foreign tourists.

       "Arena Warna is especially vibrant and filled with visitors during the holidays and festive seasons such as the Hari Raya celebrations.

       "From 8am till 11pm daily, business is good with vendors here are happy," he said, adding this was in contrast to the situation when the economic sector had to be closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

       "To those passing through Ayer Hitam, do stop by as there are many local food products and souvenirs sold here.

       "Enjoy the delicious food here and support local businesses," he said.
