ISKANDAR PUTERI: Police are investigating a video involving several individuals from different political parties which went viral on Sunday (March 6) at 6pm.

       Iskandar Puteri OCPD Asst Comm Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said a verbal altercation was seen in the video between them over the installation of political party flags.

       “The incident took place at one of the village entrances in Iskandar Puteri,’’ he said in a statement.

       ACP Dzulkhairi added that the police have already started investigating the case despite not receiving any police reports from the parties involved.

       He urged eyewitnesses of those who have any information about the incident to come forward to assist the police with the investigation.

       ACP Dzulkhairi advised all individuals and party members involved in all activities to control their behaviour and emotions throughout the Johor state election.

       “We do not want any commotion or incident to happen that could disrupt public order,’’ he said.

       ACP Dzulkhairi also advised social media users not to speculate about the video.
