PETALING JAYA: Cypark Resources Bhd recorded a firmer financial performance in its third quarter (Q3) ended July 31, 2021 with net profit rising 3.3% to RM16.7mil while revenue rose 18.4% to RM65.9mil.
The quarter had seen a reduction in finance costs by 65% to RM0.98mil and basic earnings per share for the quarter was at 2.77 sen.

Cypark said, in the notes to its financial statements, that improvements in revenue for the quarter was mainly contributed by the continuous work progress from the large-scale solar projects and specialist and consultancy works performed.
The pre-tax profit for the renewable energy division had decreased by 4.2% to RM17.1mil year-on-year as this was mainly due to the additional project costs incurred in the current quarter arising from the prolongation of the projects affected by the pandemic.
