KUALA LUMPUR: The International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance (INCEIF) has appointed Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar (pic) as chairman of the INCEIF Board, effective June 21, 2021.

       In a statement, INCEIF said Azman takes over the role from Bank Negara governor Datuk Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus who has stepped down after holding the position since Dec 11, 2018.

       “INCEIF would like to thank Datuk Nor Shamsiah for her invaluable contributions and her stewardship of the INCEIF Board over the last three years, as her leadership and guidance have contributed to INCEIF’s growth and progress on many levels,” it said. — Bernama
