Reform UK leader Nigel Farage launched a furious attack on the Government tonight over what he called the "mass-rape abomination" grooming scandals of young girls in UK towns and cities.
Speaking to a Reform rally audience in Leicester tonight, Mr Farage said: "The so-called grooming scandal, or shall we call it the mass-rape abomination, this is all back in the news."

He continued by asking the audience if they had read some of the accounts online, adding: "What happened to girls as young as 11, 12 and 13-years-old.
"If you haven't read the transcripts that are online, I advise you not to, because you frankly won't be able to go to sleep.
"What happened in this country, and it didn't just happen in one place, it wasn't just Oldham, it happened in towns and cities all over the United Kingdom on an industrial scale."

The Reform UK leader continued that what he called mainstream media did "their best not to cover it", but he saved a mention for the Prime Minister, saying: "Keir Starmer, it would appear, when he had the big job as Director of Public Prosecutions in 2008, chose not to prosecute a grooming mass rape case."
Mr Farage's claims were met with boos from the auditorium.
The Government has recently rejected a request by Oldham Council for the Home Office to manage an inquiry into child sex trafficking rings in the UK.
Safeguarding minister Jess Phillips said she recognised the "strength of feeling" for a Home Office-led inquiry into Oldham, but she told the local council the Government will not "intervene".
The Reform UK leader was echoing the sentiments of billionaire Elon Musk who launched an attack on his social media platform X in the wake of the rejection.
Mr Musk said: "In the UK, serious crimes such as rape require the Crown Prosecution Service's approval for the police to charge suspects.
"Who was the head of the CPS when rape gangs were allowed to exploit young girls without facing justice? Keir Starmer, 2008-2013."
In a series of posts on his social media site, Mr Musk described the Prime Minister as "two-tier Keir", claiming there was "no justice for severe, violent crimes but prison for social media posts".
Meanwhile, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch said a full national inquiry into organised grooming gangs is "long overdue".

Sir Keir Starmer was appointed Chief Prosecutor and head of the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) in 2008. He held the post for five years, before becoming leader of the Labour Party in 2020.
During his tenure at the top of the organisation, GB News reports the CPS reviewed the case of Girl A in the Rochdale grooming scandal and decided she would not be viewed as a credible witness by a jury, leading to the decision not to prosecute and the case was dropped in 2009.
In 2012, nine men are convicted after a 10-week trial, on a range of charges including rape, trafficking for sexual exploitation, and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child.
Express.co.uk have contacted the Government for comment.
The Independent Inquiry into Child Sex Abuse, which published its final report in 2022, described the sexual abuse of children as an "epidemic that leaves tens of thousands of victims in its poisonous wake".

Led by Professor Jay, the inquiry looked into abuse by organised groups following multiple convictions of sexual offences against children across the UK between 2010-2014, including in Rotherham, Cornwall, Derbyshire, Rochdale and Bristol.
In November last year, Professor Jay said she felt "frustrated" that none of the probe's 20 recommendations had been implemented more than two years after its conclusion.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting recently said the Government was committed to implementing the recommendations of Professor Jay's report "in full".
