       KUWAIT CITY, Jan 20: The Ministry of Interior denied abuse of power to defend itself against such claims following the arrest of a citizen, reports Al-Rai daily. The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) said in a statement the citizen was arrested based on a complaint filed against him and taken to the Public Prosecution.

       The security sources indicated the arrest and search procedures were carried out in accordance with the law, based on a decision of the Public Prosecution, and that the Public Prosecution order included the implementation of the decision at night without exception, noting that the accused and the seized items were referred to the Public Prosecution directly. The Public Prosecutor ordered his detention after the end of the interrogation.
