       KUWAIT CITY, July 2: The Public Authority for Roads and Transportation, in partnership with the General Traffic Department, has announced the opening of Tunnel No. 2 on Cairo Street Road. This new tunnel, which passes under the Third Ring Road, will be accessible to travelers coming from Hawalli Square towards Kuwait City. The opening is scheduled for dawn on Friday, July 5, 2024, and will serve the Al-Shaab and Al-Daiya areas.

       According to the plan, this development aims to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion in the region.
