PETALING JAYA: A total of 423,380 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered throughout Malaysia on Saturday (Aug 25), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
In a series of posts on its official Twitter account, the JKJAV said 161,386 people received their first dose, while 261,994 people got their second jab.
Johor topped the list of first doses administered with 31,121 followed by Kedah (21,026), Terengganu (14,657) and Perak (14,611).
Additionally, Johor also administered the most second doses with 38.127, followed by Sabah (38,127), Selangor (32,889) and Perak (25,387).
The JKJAV also said that the cumulative number of Covid-19 doses administered in Malaysia now stands at 32,635,907.
It also said 59.1% or 13,842,928 adults have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine while 80.3% or 18,792,979 adults have received their first dose.
