PETALING JAYA: A total of 258,929 vaccine doses were administered on Saturday (Sept 11), says the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV).
In a series of tweets, the JKJAV said that of this number, 88,960 people received their first dose while the remaining 169,969 received their second jab.
It added on Sunday (Sept 12) that this means that cumulatively, 38,260,575 doses have been administered since vaccinations began.
Of all the states, Sarawak saw the largest number of first doses administered at 19,979 followed by Pahang (12,905), Perak (11,745), Johor (10, 157) and Penang (9,198).
For second doses, the state with the most administered is Johor with 32, 524 followed by Kuala Lumpur (26,349), Sabah (20,875), Selangor (18, 949) and Kedah (15,067).
Additionally, Putrajaya recorded no new first doses or second doses administered.
