SIBU: Two policemen and 12 other suspects have been arrested in Kuching for alleged possession of drugs.
Urine tests conducted on the suspects also came back positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail said the two policemen had inspector and corporal ranks, and were arrested during a raid conducted at a house in Jalan Batu Kawa under Op Parti Liar by the Anti-Narcotics Investigation Department and Sarawak police headquarters on Nov 3.
The 14 are aged from 16 to 39, comprising nine men and five women.
"The youngest is a 16-year-old who is still schooling," he said on Sunday (Nov 7).
The drugs, comprising 14.57g of ketamine, 14 ecstasy pills and six erimin pills, were found on three men and in a bedroom.
He said all suspects have been remanded until Monday (Nov 8) under Section 39A(1), 12(2) and 15(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952," he said.
