PETALING JAYA: Ireka Corp Bhd has bagged a contract worth RM124.39mil for the construction of a property project in Besut, Terengganu.

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said its wholly owned subsidiary, Ireka Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd, has received a letter of award for the proposed construction and completion of two blocks of 16-storey apartment, 342 single-storey terrace houses, 252 double-storey terrace houses and 17 double-storey shophouses.

       The company will also be building a food court, tadika, surau, multipurpose hall, and all infrastructure and ancillary works at Dendong in Besut.

       The contract period shall be 208 weeks, commencing on Aug 1, 2021, and to be completed on July 27, 2025.
